Matthew’s approach to photography is to take images that move him. That’s true whether he’s shooting pictures at a wedding... or creating portraits that he hopes will lead to weddings. He connects easily with his subjects, captures emotions and puts personality into his images.

| Matthew has a comfortable, spacious waiting area with big, leather furniture. He plays relaxing music and usually runs a slide show with some of his most recent work. "I like to get to know my clients as much as possible before the shoot so that I am able to bring out their true selves in the photographs I take," he explains. |

Education:
Matthew served his apprenticeship with Christopher Neher of Paradise Portraits in NYC, and has completed several workshops and seminars. He is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, Connecticut Professional Photographers Association, Wedding and Portrait Photographers International and the Association of Bridal Consultants. |

Clients:
Evan Marc Katz, founder of online dating consulting service E-Cyrano and author of "I Can't Believe I'm Buying this Book: A Commonsense Guide to Successful Internet Dating." A photo of one of Evan's clients taken by Matthew was later featured on NBC's Today Show. |

Studio:
Matthew's studio is located in the heart of Old Farmington, CT. The space is reminiscent of an NYC art gallery with pine plank floors and large prints. Your session can take place either indoors or in the vicinity of the studio taking advantage of some of the great New England architecture and natural beauty only steps away. |
