1. What is BetterBusinessShots.com?
BetterBusinessShots is an online service that helps professionals to create effective business photos. We understand the importance of a photograph in creating the right image which is why we've built a network of hundreds of select photographers across North America. All of our photographers are hand-picked for their skill, their talent and their ability to create photos that are friendly, personable and professional.
2. Can a good photo really make a difference?
Sure! When so much business is done at a distance, partners still want to see who they're working with. When you present yourself with a professional photograph, you build a deeper relationship and increase the chances of people wanting to do business with you – and continuing to do business with you.
3. How long does the session take?
The entire photo shoot only takes about 30-60 minutes (depending on the package) and includes one to three outfit changes ("looks"). You pick the time and you pick the place. Most of our customers say that they find the experience enjoyable!
4. How much does it cost?
Click here for a list of packages and prices. BetterBusinessShots's photographers have all agreed to reduce their usual rates. Instead of charging the full fee of around $400, our photographers charge far less. For an additional fee of just $15, you can ask the photographer to come to your office or home.

6. When do I pay?
Payment must be paid when making the appointment. You can pay online or by phone. To pay by phone, call us at 1-888-282-9777 ext. 0.
7. Who will take my pictures?
We've scoured North America for the very best, professional digital photographers. We rejected "chain photo" shooters and mall photographers so you won't get a cheap-looking "graduation" photo or a cheesy glamour shot. Fewer than one in 50 photographers have the skill and experience needed to shoot the kind of photos that you need and we demand. Your photographs will be taken by a talented photographer in your area. Click here to choose a photographer.
8. Where are the photographs taken?
The session may take place at the photographer's studio, your office or at any pre-arranged location near you. We understand that most people have busy schedules, so for a small additional charge you can have the photographer come to you.
9. What should I wear for my photo shoot?
Dark clothes are best, but steer clear of stripes, checks and bold patterns. Check out our tips for some great suggestions.
10. What about hair and makeup?
Most photographers will be able supply hair and makeup services for a separate charge if you wish. Please ask your photographer about costs and availability when he or she calls to confirm your appointment.
11. Can I change the date and time of my photo session?
Of course. Please contact your photographer directly if you need to change your appointment. If for some reason you can't reach your photographer, please contact us or call us at 1-888-282-9777 ex.0 (toll free) and we'll make the change for you.
12. What happens if I don't like my photos?
If you are unhappy with your photos, we can either give you a free re-shoot or refund your money. If we give you a reshoot, you will not be able to obtain a refund if you don't like your photos the second time. It is your responsibility to tell the photographer what kind of photos you'd like to get and make sure you receive them. If you choose to not have a reshoot, we will give you a refund for the amount paid minus a sitting fee (read our terms) which is non-refundable. Optional services are also non-refundable. Any complaint should be communicated in writing to us within 14 days of the photo shoot. No refunds will be entertained for any reason after this period.
13. Will my photos be re-touched or digitally enhanced?
Only if we feel that the lighting, shadows, contrast or color in your photos need to be enhanced or modified to cast you in a "better light." We also offer photo retouching services.
14. Do I have to pay for this digital enhancement if it is required?
No. Reasonable digital enhancement is free.
15. Can I get black and white photos?

16. Do you do company or personal website photography?
Yes. BetterBusinessShots is a great way to get professional shots for a website at a very reasonable cost. We also offer group rates if you need employee or team photos. You can discuss any special requirements with the photographer when he or she calls to confirm your appointment.
17. How can I express my opinion about the quality of the work I received?
When you login to the site to collect your images, you will be asked to rate the photographer and your experience. Your feedback is very important to us.
18. Do you take nude photos?
No, that's not our thing. We have a strict policy against nude or semi-nude photographs. All photographs must remain tasteful—which means you must remain fully clothed for the duration of your photo shoot.
19. Do I get prints or high resolution images?
Prints and high resolution images are not a part of the package. You receive 6-24 photos ready to use online only. If you'd like to receive prints or high-resolution images, you will have to order them directly from your photographer for a separate charge.
20. How do I sign up?
